Catch 22 are a national provider with 3 sites in County Durham. We have a proventrack record of helping and supporting young people to move on into jobs and othertraining opportunities. We work very well supporting learners either as individuals orin small groups of 2 or more. We offer a wide range of excellent work placements tohelp you gain good quality qualifications.
Derwentside College offers outstanding support for student to ensure you achieveyour full potential. We have fantastic partnerships with employers and an excellentrange of work placement opportunities which results in excellent progression into jobsand further learning. We are rated the best in the North East and have the highestprogression into Apprenticeships in the country.
DISC is Ofsted Grade 1 Outstanding in all areas. We offer excellent opportunities withchallenging and realistic work placements tailored to meet your future vocationalaspirations. Every student has a personalised programme of study to enable studentsto progress into employment, apprenticeships and further education. DISC offer asmall friendly training environment with group sizes of less than 8 students.
The Engage Post 16 programme has been specially designed to help you get the skillsyou need to progress into Further Education, Employment or an Apprenticeship. Onthe programme you will attend a personalised study programme and gain thenecessary qualifications and work skills to enable you to work towards your chosenfuture career path.
Our study programme is a great base to gain an apprenticeship, be in the right placeat the right time as vacancies happen. Gain valuable work experience and skills asrequired by employers in the sector and receive up to £40 a week learning allowancewhilst unemployed. On progressing to an apprenticeship you can receive up to £200in progression and attendance bonuses.
New College Durham is a top-performing college, consistently in the top 10% ofcolleges nationally. In 2013/14 our pass rates were 96% and 87% of our studentsprogressed onto further study or employment, we will give you the best opportunityto success and progress.
Springboard are a Grade 2 OFSTED provider. We are very flexible in our approach toteaching and learning; we offer roll on/roll off recruitment and apply an open doorpolicy. We have excellent facilities and work placements which support a wide rangeof occupational areas and which results in good progression opportunities.
TCV can provide a wide variety of training as well as support with the purchase ofuniforms, equipment and licences such as CSCS cards. We run roll on/roll off coursesso you can start with us tomorrow if you are eligible for the programme!
