How to ask for help from your teachers?
What NOT to ask: What to ask instead:
“Why am I failing?” “I noticed that I’m failing, and I need to make up a test.”
“What’s my grade?” “I noticed that my grade is dropping. Can I get some help with _____?”
“I don’t get it.” “I am still confused. Can you please show me another example?”
“I don’t understand these concepts. Do you think you could sign a pass so I could come during academic travel?”
How often and when to ask for help?

Utilizing Time Wisely
Spend more time on homework!
If you have study hall, USE IT!
Procrastination = stress and last minute work; stay on top of your studies!
If you are absent, find out what you missed the next day!

Stay strong, Cougars!
