To participate in today's global job market, mastery of English can be your key to
success, providing you with a valuable skill sought by businesses and institutions
in hundreds of industries. English makes it possible for you to work in global
organizations in any country, whether that country is English-speaking or not.
Since 1961 ELS has been the leading provider of English programs on university
campuses and in exciting city centers in the U.S.A. Our English for Academic
Purposes program is now available at ELS Centers in Australia, Canada, India,
France, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Panama, Saudi Arabia and the United

STUDENT EXPERIENCE AT OUR ELS LANGUAGE CENTER
ELS is the only language program that offers both full-time classes and full-time support. One of my favorite ELS traditions is graduation day, when Level 112 students give a speech before they receive their Certificate of Completion. In their speeches, students always thank their friends and teachers; I think this is something special about ELS. We provide high-quality academic instruction in an environment that facilitates intercultural exchange and friendship. I love talking to students and learning about their countries and cultures. For me, coming to work is like traveling around the world without needing a plane ticket. I’m here to help students enjoy their journey toward their goals!

ELS India offers four proficiency bands (12 levels of instruction) to address the varying needs of students. All ELS programs include placement testing to determine the right level for each student.
The proficiency bands build upon one another, with the foundation of skills learned at lower levels providing support as the levels increase in complexity.
At the end of each three-month session, students successfully meeting the requirements for their level move up to the next proficiency band and immediately begin the new session.
As you move up through the levels, more opportunities become available – either through more challenging ELS courses or through higher education options.
