Shout Out!Seunghui Lily Ha (6th grader) was selected as one of the Top Winners in the area of Poetry/Prose in the 2018 Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s Poster, Poetry and Prose Contest Lily is invited to the awards presentation and opening of: Illinois is Celebrating 200 Years! How Can You Be an Environmental Pioneer? exhibit in Springfield. It will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at noon at the Old State Capitol. Lily submitted her poem "In A Dream Not Too Far Away" in this competition.

Thursday: practice until 4:00. Match vs SCS & Iles @ SCS. Bus leaves at 4:30
Friday: practice until 4:00.
Scholastic Bowl News!The A team wins two against a tough Williamsville team and Athens. Overall record in match play 17-0.
The B team split, beating Athens but losing to Williamsville on the last question of the match. They came back from a 70 deficit losing only by 15 points. Keep in mind that our team of sixth grade students were competing against 7th and 8th graders!
Over all B team record is 18-1.

8th Grade Volleyball Update:
FMS put the hammer down on JMS in Regional action yesterday, winning 25-2 and 25-0. Sarah Becker served 24 points in the second game.
