What’s New (click the hyperlinks to see more)

• Edit Mode – No need to ponder over whether a feature or function is accessible from the Control Panel,

Edit View or Display View or any other view! Just click the Edit Mode button to switch it ON and you are given full access to all of the Instructor controls and management tools from ‘inline’ menus

• Dashboard page– When you open a study area now it is likely that the first thing you’ll see is the Dashboard with

its collection of useful bits and pieces.

• Easier to add content using expandable menus– The Instructor Control Panel is now always visible from any page under Course Management

on the left hand side of the page within a course. Menu options are grouped under expandable headings by type; for example if you wanted to access the Grade Center click on Evaluation.

• Hide/Show the side menu• Clicking the ‘Hide/Show course menu’ symbol conceals the left hand menu panel giving you

more room on the page

• Access Community at http://community.brighton.ac.uk
