All schools have returned to full-time on-campus learning. With updated health advice and changes to state and national restrictions, schools are able to recommence the majority of school-based activities from either 15 June 2020 or the start of Term 3 (20 July 2020). Physical distancing requirements remain for adults All adults must maintain physical distance from each other (1.5m) including teachers and support staff, and parents. Non-essential adults are still not permitted on school grounds or at school events this includes parents/carers. A reminder if possible please stay in the car for drop off and pick up to help maintain social distancing, minimise contact and keep everyone safe. There will be a teacher on duty at the Godfrey Street gate before and after school each day to greet and farewell the children. Activities recommencing Term 3 Library Sport - (all PSSA activities for Term 3 have been cancelled) Assembly - (limited to 15 minutes and no external visitors) Choir and recorder groups Scripture Parent/teacher meetings where these need to take place strong preference for on-line where possible unless involving serious matters that require face to face discussion Activities under consideration from Term 3 School camps Excursions Parent Volunteers (other than canteen) School-based activities that involve large gathering of adults are not permitted at this time. These include parent/community gatherings such as parent functions, working bees, fundraisers, school BBQs, large parent information evenings, and large on-site cultural events. These large gatherings will continue to be reviewed and assessed based on AHPPC and NSW Health advice and may be permitted at a later date. Many School Activities Recommence In line with health advice, schools are operating full time, and many additional activities are now able to recommence. All schools have returned to full-time on-campus learning. With updated health advice and changes to state and national restrictions, schools are able to recommence the majority of school-based activities from either 15 June 2020 or the start of Term 3 (20 July 2020). OUR STUDENTS OF THE WEEK Our Students of the Week are: Susannah Allan and Maeve Halvorson for continually achieving their best; Riley Mitchell for applying himself to the highest level in English and Maths; Sabrina Davis and Amelia Dolbel for being respectful and kind students. OUR ASSEMBLY AND PLAYGROUND AWARD WINNERS Abigail Gelling and Eve Robson are congratulated for being Respectful Safe Learners. They both received a voucher from the canteen to thank them. OUR WINNERS OF THE CLASS SHIELD Congratulations to K Pink who are the winners of this week’s class shield. They are congratulated for being Respectful Safe Learners. Mila D’Aquino and Eligh Mulholland collected the shield on behalf of K Pink.

LIBRARY NEWS

Our stock take for library resources has commenced this week and will continue into next week in preparation for borrowing to start next term. There are currently 103 library books which are now overdue, four reminder notices have now been sent home and accounts will be issued for those unreturned items.
