About Student Visa Requirements in Ireland

Before applying for a Student Visa, you must first be accepted for full time study in a registered course offered at an Education Institution in Ireland. Letter of Acceptance from the university or college must have the details of the course title and tuition fees mentioned along with the deposit paid . The program must be full time and must involve 15 hours of day time studies

Document Requirements for Student Visa.

All academic documents of the student must be submitted Police verification certificate from the home country English language requirements for the student visas is 5.5 bands or

equivalentAccommodation is required, student needs to show the agreement copyAll the documents must be in English

Financial Requirements for Student Visa.

Medical Insurance which the university and college can provide for the student with a coverage of €25000

Evidence of the tuition fees (partial or full) paid by the student which can be the receipt from the college or bank

The remaining tuition fee and living cost of €7500 in the form of Bank Statement of 6 months, Fixed deposit or Education loan must be shown as the financial evidence.

Presentation of Student Visa file.Original documents along with two set of photocopies must be carried at the VFS center for

submissionStudent needs to complete the online visa application form and must take the biometric

appointment with VFS GlobalStudent should provide a passport sized photo, 45-50mm in height and 35-38mm in width, with

80% of the face visible on the white backgroundEnsure the passport is valid for 12 months after the student arrives in Ireland, photocopies of all

the pages of the passport must be attached while submitting the visa fileVisa application fee for Single entry of €60 can be paid online, along with the visa service charges

of Rs 1648/- for the biometric (as at 01 Jan 2016)
