can help you with questions about:•Studies at Umeå University•Application and eligibility•Evaluation of foreign grades•Individual guidance to help you plan your studies
Support for students with disabilities
Disabilities are permanent physical, mental or intellectual limitations of a person’s functional capacity.
To be granted support you need:
1.Supporting documents from authorized person
2. Registration on a programme/course

The Student Health Service:•Have focus on health promotion and prevention
•Give support in matters realting to your physical,mental or psychosocial health situation. This may involve lifestyle issues such as stress, sleep or alcohol.
•Is available for all students at Umeå University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Umeå.
•Observe confidentiality and all the services are free.There is no doctor or midwife working at the Student Health Service.

• If you need to see a doctor you should make an appointment at a local Health Care Center. You are free to choose Health Care Center. Remember always to bring your health insurance paper and your ID-card.
• The Student Health Service can help you with guidance regarding how to get medical care.
