We are aware of the risks involved and in consideration of my *child/ward being permitted by Indian Cultural Society, National University of Singapore (“NUS”) to participate in Camp Kathiroli 2013, I, for myself and my *child/ward,:

(a) do hereby absolve, acquit and discharge NUS and its officers, servants, employees, agents or volunteers from all or any responsibility, actions, causes of action, claims, demands and obligations whatsoever arising from any loss or damage (including, without limitation, physical injury, loss of life or property damage) caused by or sustained as a result of my *child’s/ward’s participation in Camp Kathiroli 2013.

(b) will indemnify and keep indemnified, save and hold harmless NUS and its officers, servants, employees, agents or volunteers against all losses, claims, demands, actions, proceedings, damages, costs or expenses, including legal fees, and any other liability arising in any way from my *child’s/ward’s participation in Camp Kathiroli 2013.

(c) understand that Camp Kathiroli 2013 is solely run by NUS Indian Cultural Society and that my *child’s/ward’s Secondary School plays no part in the above mentioned Camp.

Rules and Regulations of the camp

1. Camp Kathiroli 2013 will be held from 18 June 2013 – 21 June 2013.2. Every student who has signed up for this camp has to pay a registration fee of

$25/- (STRICTLY IN CASH ONLY) which covers accommodation at NUS, a camp T-shirt, food and the use of the NUS facilities.

3. Students are strongly advised not to bring any expensive valuables such as jewelleries or electronic devices to the camp. NUS ICS will not be held responsible for the loss of any valuables.

4. Students are advised not to have more than $20 in cash.5. Students are responsible for their own possessions and are supposed to keep

them safely in the hostel rooms allocated to them. They are also liable to pay for any damages done to the rooms during their stay.

6. Students are liable to pay for any damages that they have caused to the property of NUS.

7. No smoking, consumption of alcohol or gambling during the whole camp duration.

8. No carrying of any objects that are sharp or injurious such as penknife or blades.9. The camp organizers have the authority to check participants’ belongings at any

point of time. Items that are deemed unsuitable by the organizers would be confiscated and returned at the end of camp stay.

10. Students are strictly advised not to consume any medication without the supervision of councilors.

11. Students who are unwell or have any personal problems during the camp stay are to inform facilitators or organizers.

Students are to be dressed in their P.E T-shirts, school pants with comfortable track shoes when reporting for the camp at 9 a.m on 18/6/2013.Please feel free to clarify should there be any queries with regards to the camp:
