Go to https://law-csuohio-csm.symplicity.com/students/ to log on to Symplicity. Students use Cleveland-Marshall Law Interactive ID and Password; Recent alumni (those who have graduated within the past 18 months) should contact

us at [email protected] for alumni password.

After log in, click on the “Profile” tab at the top of the screen. Some fields have been filled in for you.

Under the first three tabs, the following appear: “Personal Information,” “Academic Information,” and “Privacy”.

Complete information requested at each of these three tabs.

At the end of each tab, you’ll need to click “Save Changes” after you’ve entered your information.

Important notes about document uploading:

You may upload many different documents in the system, allowing for individual cover letters, multiple writing samples, etc.

When you upload documents into Symplicity, the system will convert your document from Word or WordPerfect into a .pdf format. You must review the .pdf before submitting your document to ensure that the formatting has converted properly!

Click on “Jobs” at the top of the screen. The drop-down menu includes job postings on USAJobs, Career Builder, and C-M postings (listed as CSM Jobs). Select “CSM

Jobs” to view postings from the Office of Career Planning.

You may search by area of practice, type of position, or class level from drop down menus. You may also search by job title, etc… by using keywords.

Click on the job title to view the posting.

The details of the listing will be shown. If the words “How to Apply” appear, you will apply outside of the Symplicity system by following the instructions.

If the words “Application Status” appear, using the drop-down menus you may submit your materials through the system. If there are no drop-down boxes,

instructions will be posted on contacting the employer.
