ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Student exchange is a program where students are given the opportunity to study

abroad at one of partner universities. Students will study for a full semester at

partner universities and the credits they earn may be transferred to their credits at

Telkom University.

Most of partner universities wave the tuition fee for exchange students.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

PROCEDURE

1. Application

Check the requirements

Fill out the online application at http://bit.ly/2jTdG1h

Submit the general required documents to ICAO after filling out the online

application

2. Administrative Selection

Applicants who pass the administrative selection will be contacted via email

for interview.

3. Interview

Applicants will be interviewed by Prodi

Applicants who pass the interview must submit documents required by

partner universities.

There may be an additional selection process and/or an interview conducted

by partner universities if needed.

4. Acceptance Letter

Applicants are officially accepted if they receive an acceptance letter from

partner universities.

5. Flight tickets and Visa

Flight tickets and visa application are organized by ICAO. Purchasing tickets

and applying for visa individually are not allowed without ICAO permission.

It is recommended for the exchange students to stay in Bandung during visa

application process.

6. Tel-U Tuition Fee

Exchange students pay 10% of tuition fee at Telkom University if they are

required to pay for tuition fee at partner universities.

Exchange students pay 50% of tuition fee at Telkom University if the tuition

fee at partner universities is waved.

7. Tel-U Registration

Exchange students must register at Telkom University for the semester during

exchange. Please consult with related Prodi regarding the courses taken at

partner university and the study plan.

Estimated Expenses (±) Accommodation: 16,500 yen/month (Including utilities and expenses for common facilities)

Residents must deposit 8,000 yen when they move in, and about 10,000 yen annually for bedding or Futon rental service. Residents

who wish to have their own internet connection in their rooms must sign up with their choice of internet provider for themselves. It costs 2,268 yen/month and 2,160 yen for application.

Monthly expenses: 65,000 ～ 80,000 yen

Required documents 1. Incoming Exchange Student Application form. 2. Printed Online Registration Application Report 3. Students’ curriculum vitae in English. 4. 2 recommendation letters from faculty (Academic Advisor / Lecturer) 5. 1 Certified copy of academic transcript on all grades obtained until

present (in English). If your transcript is in foreign language, submit together with official translations.

6. If available: certificates for English language tests (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, GCE ‘O’ Levels for English). Min. requirement is TOEFL 550 (Computer based 237, Internet based 80), IELTS 6.5 or C in Cambridge O-Level English.

7. 1 copy of passport: validity at least 12 months for visa application of 6 months, validity at least 18 months for visa application of 12 months. (printed on A4 paper size, 2-4 pages per sheet (use only front sheet), all pages including blank page)

8. 6 passport size photographs (3.5x4.5 cm WHITE background, no white border)

9. Upon receiving an offer letter from MMU, students need to submit proof of payment for USD 500 (visa 6 months)/USD700 (visa 12 months) which includes application fee for a Malaysian Student Pass, health examination, medical insurance card, administrative charges, as well as the fee for the pass (for the duration of less than 6 months/12 months).
