Welcome back to Term 4. I hope that you had a great holiday with your children. I will be away next week on LSL and Sue Steele will be principal. I will be back in week 3. Thank you, Sue! Book Week A reminder about Book Week which starts on Monday 19th October, next week. The children will be celebrat- ing Book Week on Friday 23 Octo- ber with a parade where they will dress up as their favourite book character. Some year 5 and 6 students will also be reading a book to their young- er peers on that day. The books for the Book fair will be set up in the library and the teachers will take the children to see the books during the week. Your child will write out their wish list to bring home and will also be posting a photo on See- saw for you to see their books. On the back of the wish list and on the flyer sent home today is the option to pay online. You will need to return this slip with your receipt number on it. There are not many copies of books, so if there is a popular book Mrs Forbes will order it and it will come at a later time. You can also send in the money in an envelope with your child’s name and the names of the books that you want. Please be patient as we work through the new system. had a great holiday with your children. I will

be away next week on LSL and Sue Steele will

you, Sue!

Book Week

A reminder about Book Week which

starts on Monday 19th October, next

week. The children will be celebrat-

ing Book Week on Friday 23 Octo-

ber with a parade where they will

dress up as their favourite book

character. Some year 5 and 6 students

will also be reading a book to their young-

er peers on that day. The books for the

Book fair will be set up in the library and

the teachers will take the children to see

the books during the week. Your child will

write out their wish list to bring home

and will also be posting a photo on See-

saw for you to see their books. On the

back of the wish list and on the flyer sent

home today is the option to pay online.

You will need to return this slip with your

receipt number on it. There are not many

copies of books, so if there is a popular

book Mrs Forbes will order it and it will

come at a later time. You can also send in

the money in an envelope with your

child’s name and the names of the

books that you want. Please be patient

as we work through the new system.

Community Engagement
