The LocationMaresfield Park is one of the most exclusive and sought-after residential locations in the area. The properties within the park are very varied and generally sit in substantial plots in a lightly wooded setting, creating an attractive tranquil environment.

The village of Maresfield centres around a conservation area and the picturesque church. There are a general store/newsagents, Post Office, primary school and public house, together with a cricket field, tennis club, indoor bowls club and gymnasium. Just to the north lies the 6500 acres of the Ashdown Forest, the largest free-access public open space in the south-east. The nearby junction of the A272, A22 and A26 allows good road communications in all directions and access to the major towns of Tunbridge Wells, Crowborough, Heathfield, Haywards Heath, Lewes and Brighton. Gatwick airport is about 24 miles.

The town of Uckfield is about 2 miles to the south and offers a wide range of shopping and leisure facilities, two supermarkets, several banks, Post Office, numerous restaurants and public houses, library, cinema, leisure centre/swimming pool, Community College and rail station with services to London Bridge and London Victoria from about 75 minutes.

The rail station in the nearby village of Buxted is closer to the property and has a slightly shorter journey time on the same line. The village also has a shop/newsagents, hairdressers, three churches, two public houses/restaurants and a health centre.

The area is well served by a variety of state and private schools for all ages. There are numerous golf courses within a few miles.

The PropertyStrettons was built in 2011 and offers nearly 2,400 sq. ft. of floor space with very well-proportioned rooms throughout. Of particular note is the impressive near 20’ long vaulted reception hall with feature staircase and galleried landing, immediately giving a feeling of great spaciousness to the property.

The open plan 26’ fitted kitchen/breakfast/family room has an atrium roof light and bi-fold doors leading out to the terrace. The lounge also has bi-fold doors so the ground floor space easily opens to the outside to create a great entertaining space.

The house sits fairly centrally in its mature circa 0.5 acre plot and in one corner there is a brick garden store and workshop. An electrically operated gate and gravelled drive with parking area leads to a detached double open-fronted oak framed carport.
