Strengths

1.  Multi-wall polycarbonate sheets are easily available.

2.  The basic cost of multi-wall sheets is very cheap.

3.  Un-limited designs can be created.

4.  Provides employment to the work force.

Weaknesses

1.  Educative interactive learning with the fabricator/ applicator/ installer & customer for

fixing connection method is missing.

2.  The structure cannot be used as temporary part or reused.

3.  Cannot be offered as 100% water leak-proof system.4.  Good quality connection profiles, accessories are not easily available.

5.  Water leakage is a big problem.

6.  Maintenance due to poor fixing & sub-standard quality costs upto half of the system cost, and may demand full change-over, at times.

7.  The elements of joining method are too much to pair-up that any poor performed element can disturb the orientation.

8.  Engineering is over-ruled.

9.  Skilled labour for quality job is not paid for.

10.  Full connection system requires a lengthy installation time with a scope of misalignment.

1)  SUNPAL panels have raised collars (protruded up-stands) for interlocking.

2)  Multi-cell structure with reinforcements (diamond cuts) and multi-walls resist buckling of SUNPAL Panels.

3)  Permanent, co-extruded, ultra-violet protective layer is extruded on external & internal faces.

4)  Panel weight/ Sq.m. is very high as compared to plain multiwall polycarbonate sheets, resulting in resistance to high impact.

5)  U-profile (snap-on connector/ battens/ Joiner profile) used for interlocking the panels in parallel arrangement and making system water leak-

proof.

6)  Thermal elongation is controlled by cleats/ retention clips, includes; T-fasteners (for side-ways) and T-Lock (for lateral movement) supplied

in Stainless Steel 304 grade for non-corrosion.

7)  Cold forged hex-cap self drilling/ self tapping tested screws with anti-corrosive plating are used.

SUNPAL Architectural system is considered as temporary structure due to its fixing technique with its detachable modular orientation anddefined as free floating system.

9)  SUNPAL sectional front sides are sealed with 6063-T5 aluminium sealing & end profiles.
