Marking trash locations

RIVER CLEAN-UP

And now the real work begins

Some items could be reused for the ride down the river,

but most was just trash.

There were days and days of hard work.

Days of exhaustion,

and more exhaustion.

But also days of triumph!

We had an amazing impact on these rivers..

but there was still much left behind.

Remaining trash locations on the Rapidan River.

Remaining trash locations on the Robinson River.

A FUTURE PROJECTAside from our efforts to improve the overall ecological health of our rivers, StreamSweepers hopes to encourage responsible use and stewardship of the rivers by all. This responsible use would be enhanced by public access spots at various locations along both the Rapidan and Robinson Rivers. It is our hope that a possible future project of the StreamSweepers will be the construction and maintenance of these public access points. The possible locations for these public access points are displayed on the following river maps.
