HAPPY SUMMER HOLIDAYS
Dear Parents and Carers,
2020 has been an extraordinary year. During this challenging time Stradbroke
School has shown itself to be a strong and vibrant school community.
Collectively as a community we have demonstrated how we can be agile,
responsive and supportive of one another.
At present SA has been declared COVID free. So let’s take this opportunity
over the next few weeks to spend time with our family and friends and
remember how important the people are in our lives.
Life at school has been very busy. We have had the Junior Primary Christmas
sing-a-long, Year 7 Graduation, the special Christmas school lunch and end of
year class celebrations. I thank the students for their enthusiasm and
engagement with their learning and involvement in our school. We are lucky
to have such a rich and diverse group of students. It has been a joy to watch
the children learn and grow throughout 2020. I would like to take this opportunity to
thank the staff, for their wonderful
commitment and contribution to our
students, their families and our
community. This year has had many
challenges. Your commitment to
providing a quality learning program on
and off line has been commendable.
Parents we want to thank you for
trusting us with the education of your
child(ren) and the contribution you
make to our school.
I wish you all Peace, Joy, Hope and
Happiness during this Summer Holiday
season and throughout the New Year.

CANTEEN
At the end of this very different and somewhat stressful 2020,
I would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has
helped and supported the Canteen this year. Without your
ongoing commitment, the Canteen would not be able to offer
the variety and amount of food for our school community. If
your children are leaving Stradbroke for the last time, good
luck, and if you are returning next year, see you in 2021.
I hope everyone has a lovely
Christmas and New Year, and I
look forward to seeing
everyone when school
resumes next year.
