story of power & such

1
Having already seen some of what Levi was capable of when he came into the small village and single-handedly took out the entire scouting team, consisting of 30 of the Naruuk, he knew it was only time before he got the question. His whole life, or, at least since he discovered his powers, there was one question that always came after the bewilderment and confusion went away. What are you capable of? What is the limit of your power? Some meant it in fear, as in, Could you slaughter us all if you wanted? Others meant it in amazement, intrigue, or simply casual interest. Regardless of their motive behind it, the question always came in some form or another. And so, sitting in the large dining hall, watching over and enjoying a meal with the townsfolk, Levi waited for the question. As he sat, he chatted with those around him. In between conversations, he ran back over everything he knew about the situations thus far, and what was to come. This was a habit of his, a compulsion almost. To repeat, over and over, everything he knew, so as to ensure he had fully considered the situation and had not missed any details or connections. At least, this is what he told himself. In all actuality, it was simply a compulsion; a result of his OCD. And so, that is what he did now.
