The Stormont Parliament Buildings is the headquarters of the Northern Ireland Assembly
It was a long walk from the car park to the Parliament Buildings
Statue of Lord (Edward) Carson, a leader of the Ulster Unionist Party between 1910 & 1921
“Ulster” is another name for Northern Ireland
The building was designed in Greek classical style & made of Portland stone
The Great Hall inside the building is constructed from Italian marble & the engraving fashioned by Italian craftsmen in the 1920s
Bangor is a coastal town on the east coast of Northern Ireland
Bangor Marina is a berth for yachts in the centre of Bangor
A pool in the sea; the colour of the waters was a beautiful deep blue
