Storm water strategy 2008 Main goal is better overall management The priority order in storm water management and planning
1. Storm water is treated and utilized on original site
2. Storm water is leaded out from original site by using delaying system, which slows down the first flush of run off
3. Storm water is leaded out from original site in drainage pipes to delaying areas in public spaces, before leading to creeks/rivers/lakes/sea
4. Storm water is leaded in drainage pipes straight to creeks/rivers/lakes/sea
5. Storm water is leaded in sewers to Viikinmäki waste water treatment plant
