Underground Tanksaccording to DIN 6608(DIN EN 12285-1)

Finished steel manhole pitsThe collars of the manhole pit as well as the welded-onsteel manhole pits internally and externally protectedagainst corrosion (DIN 6626, DIN 6627) are designed for theenvironmental protection and the conservation of the tankvalue. The pit cover is available from the accessible to thetrafficable design class D 400, even as required.

For the domestic technique Dehoust provides full systemsconsisting of tanks with welded-on finished manhole pitsimpervious to liquids in passable and trafficable options, mounted tank fitting, mounted limiting value transmitter aswell as a preassembled leakage indicator. Please see our separate brochure for more information oncomplete heating oil tanks of Dehoust.

Dehoust safety tanks (ST design)The Dehoust safety design (ST) offers good protectionagainst internal corrosion when storing mineral oil products. The tank is provided with an additional internal bottom witha plastic coating on the shot-blasted surface ensuringsafety for decades. A special warranty of 10 years isgranted.

Single wall tanks according to DIN 6608/1 are used for

liquids not hazardous for waters, e.g. for our rain water tanksmade of steel for a storage volume of up to 100 m 3.Double wall cylindrical steel storage tanks according to DIN6608/2 for the underground storage of liquids hazardous forwaters as for example heating oil or carburettor fuels (seematerial list DIN 6601) have been proven and tested fordecades. The double shell is continuously monitored bymeans of a vacuum (or with excess pressure) and thusoffers long-term safety. The tanks are protected againstexternal corrosion by a bitumen insulation reinforced with aglass fibre mat. A high-voltage test of 14,000 volt in theworks guarantees additional security. For aggressivegrounds, a reinforced bitumen insulation tested with 20,000volt and/or a glass fibre reinforced plastic insulation for

    special requirements are available.

The plants are specified according to the respective technical requirements and realised as optimaloverall concept in cooperation with our customers.

A factory certification confirming the conformity with the rules of quality assurance according to RAL-RG 998 and DIN 6600 ff is provided with each tank. This certification corresponds to a constructionconformity mark, thus a special design homologation is not necessary.

Vertical Above-Ground Tanksaccording to DIN 6618

Vertical storage tanks made of steel according to DIN 6618

with tubular bases are designed for the storage aboveground of combustible and non-combustible liquidshazardous for waters according to DIN 6601 (material list). They are appropriate for the storage of liquids with adensity of max. 1.0 g/cm3 (with profile bases and internalreinforcement ring up to a density of 1.9 g/cm3). They areavailable as single and double wall systems with liquidleakage indicator or vacuum seepage warning device. DINspecifies different possibilities for the base and base ring

design. We appreciate to forward to you sketches and

detail drawings. In standard design, the tanks have anupper access pitch DN 500/ DN 600. Lateral sockets andflange connections are also possible in the lower bottom forsingle wall tanks. For double wall tanks all connections areled out from the upper bottom. Ascent ladders made ofsteel and/or aluminium and service platforms and thecomprehensive accessory are combined to an optimal tanksystem as requested by the customer.

Dehoust produces tanks for liquids hazardous forwaters of the DIN series 6600ff (e.g. 6608, 6616 and6618), pressure tanks, devices and special tanks for

the process engineering, collecting trays and otherwelded constructions. We manufacture on the basisof own and customers drawings up to an overallmass of 20 t with a diameter of up to 3.20 m (in singlecases even up to a diameter of 5 m) and a length of upto 16 m.Dehoust tanks are processed by welders with TV(Technical Inspection Authority) examination in nearly

all necessary qualities in the standard and stainlesssteel area. Our company is an approved weldingoperation according to HPO with processing audit

according to the AD-Merkblatt (bulletin). The manu-facture is subject to the supervision by the TV. Ownapproved works auditors as well as experts accor-ding to the Federal Water Act guarantee highestquality requirements. Experience of many years, welltrained employees, internal project departments andthe close cooperation with our customers ensureshort delivery times and optimal solutions.

Single and double wall tanks made of steel are ap-proved for the storage of combustible and non-com-bustible liquids hazardous for waters according toDIN 6601 (positive list). Other liquids hazardous forwaters can be stored in tanks if linings or coatings areused the appropriateness of which are proven by aconformity mark or a design homologation accordingto VbF 12. We are a specialist company according

to 19 WHG and VbF and appreciate to offer youcorresponding coatings for all tank systems.A small selection of the substances which may bestored in tanks made of steel S235JR (EN 10027-1)observing the substance-specific requirements of DIN6601 is given in the following list. The DIN includesother substances which also may be stored in stain-less steel.
