Tandrup Water Solutions is a Danish company that is part of Johs. Tandrup A/S, which was founded by Johannes Tandrup in 1946. The company is based in Allerød Denmark, around 30 km north of Copenhagen, and our premises include our own foundry and other production, warehousing, testing and

administration facilities. We currently export 90% of our products to over 30 countries worldwide and have been supplying products into the UK market for more than 25 years.

In particular, we focus on the design and manufacture of water-saving solutions (primarily showerheads and water-savers for taps) under the brand name T-Save® - together with solutions for bacteria-free water, where end user experience and comfort are taken to the next level.

T-Safe® is a point of use filtration product range from the Danish company, Tandrup Water Solutions A/S. The range comprises of;

• Shower filters (hand-held, panel and permanent feature wall mounted showers)• Tap filters• Kitchen spray filters (for commercial kitchens)

T-Safe® ensures complete protection from a wide range of water borne pathogens at the point of use.

• Point-of-use filtration The T-Safe® range ensures protection from a wide range of water borne pathogens that may be introduced at the point of entry to a system, or prevalent in storage vessels, pipework distribution systems or sanitary fittings.

• Multiple Applications T-Safe offers a wider range of applications than that of other suppliers in the market, including single use/ disposable and re-usable hand-held showers, shower panel integration kits, spray wash fittings and a permanent wall mounted anti-ligature shower solution.

• Hollow Fibre Filter The T-Safe® range utilises an integral filter device constructed of hollow fibre Technology microfiltration media, which enables water and gases to pass through the filter whilst retaining bacteria to 0.2µm.

• Long Lifecycle The T-Safe® range has a maximum validated lifecycle of 92 days from installation; far exceeding that of alternate products on the market.

• Exchangeable Filter The T-Safe® range of shower products includes an exchangeable integral filter device. This feature can offer significant cost savings where the shower housing can continue to be used once the lifecycle of the filter has expended.

• Tested and Validated T-Safe® has been tested and approved by the following: • Hygiejne Institut des Ruhrgebiets (Germany) • Statens Serum Institut (Denmark) • WRAS (UK Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) • Independently field tested over six months at leading Danish hospitals • Extensive internal testing • ASTM 838-05

Each T-Safe® product is designed around an integral hollow fibre filter device, which allows water and gases to pass freely through the filter media, but prevents the discharge of Legionella and other harmful bacteria. Its placement at the point of use, either attached to or in place of traditional sanitary fittings effectively eliminates the risk of exposure to end users.

• High Capacity Filtration A filtration surface area of up to 2000 cm² provides high throughput capacity and an extended life cycle.

• Log7 bacteria retention The T-Safe® integral filtration device is validated to achieve bacteria retention of Log7.

• Water Savings Utilising an integral flow restrictor device (T-Save®), water consumption can be reduced to just 7 litres per minute.

• Ease of Installation The T-Safe® range has been specifically designed to enable ease of installation and filter exchange during operational use that requires minimal training and tools.

• Traceability The T-Safe® range offers complete traceability from the manufacturing process through batch numbering and during operational use through barcode labelling that is compatible with proprietary asset and compliance management monitoring systems.

The T-Safe® product range has not only been developed to ensure the effective filtration of harmful bacteria but also to fulfil the specific needs and demands for such solutions without compromising the end users experience.

The T-Safe® product range features include an ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing design with a range of available finishes, ease of installation and filter exchange during operational use, anti-twist hose function, regulated water flow rate and superior end user experience in terms of hand-washing and shower comfort.

HAND-HELD SHOWERHEADS T-Safe® hand-held showerheads are especially suited to the health and care sectors, where they can be used for bathing and wound cleaning. In the case of wound cleaning applications a showerhead with a flat sieve plate (product no.: 02-803112), should be used.

The AntiTwist function in the coupling between showerhead and hose ensures that the shower hose does not become twisted, irrespective of how much the shower is rotated or turned during normal use. The hand-held showerheads are also well-suited to the domestic sector and can be installed and used in the same way as any traditional hand- held showerhead fitting.

TAP FILTERST-Safe® tap filters are also ideally suited to the health and care sectors, where there is a need for the control of harmful water borne pathogens in water for both hand washing and drinking water. Unlike other alternate products on the market, T-Safe® minimises the impact on the reduction in clearance height between the outlet and the basin drain or overflow point due to its installation design feature.

SHOWER PANELS AND WALL MOUNTED SHOWERS The shower panel integration kit is intended primarily for use in facilities with multi-bank shower arrangements typically found in the leisure sector. The wall mounted shower offers a permanent feature anti-ligature solution with a removable integral filter. The wall mounted shower can be operated with or without the integral filter device, offering both flexibility and potential cost savings in use. Both applications offer relatively low water consumption levels of just 7 litres per minute.

KITCHEN SPRAYS The kitchen spray is intended for use in the hospitality sector in commercial and industrial kitchens. This robust and durable fitting offers an exceptional washing and rinsing capability at a relatively low water consumption levels of just 8 litres per minute.
