DID YOU KNOW?Property Owners are Responsible for Maintenance of Sidewalks, Curbs and
Driveways
The sidewalks in front of your home are an extension of your front yard and should be maintained. Sidewalks should be accessible to all your neighbors and fellow community members. To make your neighborhood useable for all, be sure to keep sidewalks free from any obstructions, such as mailboxes, basketball hoops, parked cars, trashcans, shrubbery and fences. Keep all trees, shrubs and grass on the premises well trimmed so they will not overhang the sidewalks and interfere with the pedestrian path. Failure to keep sidewalks clear may result in a fi ne up to $500.00 (Code of Ordinances, City of San Antonio, Sec. 29-11, Sec. 6-1 and Sec. 1-5).(http://library.municode.com/HTML/11508/level3/PTIICO_CH29STSI_ARTIINGE.html#PTIICO_CH29STSI_ARTIINGE_S29-11MASIPACUDRABOW).
For additional information, please call San Antonio Customer Service Department at 311 or visit www.municode.com (for ordinance).

“What Are They Building There?”When construction trucks start rolling in, the Property Association is often asked, “What are they building there?” Residents should be aware any new construction must come before the Stone Oak Architectural Review Committee for review and approval prior to construction. The Committee ensures design is in accordance with Stone Oak Master Plan regulations. Due to the increase in construction activity in the Stone Oak area, we thought it might be helpful over the next few months to inform you of some of the ongoing projects.
The majority of current projects are along Stone Oak Parkway. Over the past year, El Coronado, a 112 bed continuing care facility, has been under construction at the intersection of Stone Oak Parkway and Arrow Hill. This facility will include a chapel, a library, an amenities shop, a salon, and two cafes for residents. The facility design also includes three courtyard areas and a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation center. Construction is expected to be completed in November of this year. More information can be found at www.cantexcc.com.
Further up the road at 20718 Stone Oak Parkway, almost at US 281, you will see Autumn Grove Cottage. This facility has only 16 private bedrooms, and will provide specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care in a home-
like environment with a unique high direct caregiver to resident ratio. They expect to open this December. More information can be found at www.autumngrove.com.
Please help us welcome these facilities to the Stone Oak Community. We hope you fi nd this information helpful, and will include details on other projects in future months.
