Stolle Inside Spray Systems
Swing-away gun mounts allow easy access to spray guns for set-up and cleaning
Stolle inside spray systems apply a coating to the inside surface of two-piece can bodies at high speed and with maximum production efficiency. Stolle offers 2 models that feature Reynolds inside spray technology: the DG-250 (dual gun) has two spray guns to coat the inside of the can, while the TG-350 has a third gun to spray the can dome. Designed primarily for steel cans, the TG-350 passes the can from the main turret to a vacuum turret wheel that holds the can in place for the dome spray, while limiting can damage and overspray.
Stolle Inside Spray Machines are available as either single machine additions to an existing line, or as an integrated modular design with three to ten machines mounted on a common platform. They are capable of handling aluminum or steel cans in a variety of sizes at speeds up to 350 cans per minute. Swing-away gun mounts allow easy access to the spray nozzles for set-up and cleaning, and a locking mechanism ensures the gun mounts return to their precise set-up position. Can size changes are easily accomplished with a minimal number of change parts and require only minor adjustments. The modular layout can be designed to meet customer requirements and can include space for future machines in the design.
Stolle’s has capabilities to provide an integrated spray system that can range from a modular system containing only the individual ISMs and control panel (or including the spray delivery and exhaust systems), to a complete system with operator platform, exhaust system and can conveyance. Stolle can offer a Stolle Conveyance System, or use a customer-specified brand of conveyance, to take the cans directly into the IBO. A complete Spray System Integration provides a complete spray system from a single source, without the extra shipping costs and the potential of scope issues between vendors, saving both money and time.
