FIELD INSTRUMENTS SOLUTIONSDominique Choquet

The SmartLine platform is built on three pillars of excellence

to maximize value to the customer dependent upon their

specific requirements: best-in-class performance, lowest

total cost of ownership, and best integration with Honeywell

Experion DCS. The newest member of the family is the

SmartLine Level Transmitter, which was preceded by the

SmartLine Pressure and the SmartLine Temperature

transmitters. Lifecycle is managed smartly from the

beginning, with tools that simplify the complexity and

ordering of the correct level transmitter for the application.

The platform eliminates troubleshooting and rework due to

wiring mistakes at installation, minimizes post-installation

operation and maintenance costs, and provides long-term

life cycle needs such as minimizing inventory requirements

and simplifying migration and upgrades.

Honeywell’s SmartLine platform is the next generation of Honeywell instrumentation for smart management across the lifecycle of your operations

INTEGRATED SAFETY SOLUTIONS FOR TERMINALSGerrie Benjert

New legislation on health, safety and environment have

become effective in the last few years in Europe forcing

terminal operators to make significant investments in

their installations and organizations.

These changes which involve safety studies, risk

assessments, designing the required modifications,

updating operating and maintenance procedures

have put a burden on the limited resources available

to the terminal operator. The implementation of the

required modifications also require significant capital

investments that do not lead to additional return on

investment (ROI).

Honeywell believes that an integrated safety and

automation solution for terminal operations will not

only address the compliance issues but also provide

a positive ROI through improved safety, reliability and

efficiency.

These solutions could include an Automated Overfill

Protection System (AOPS), SIL 2/3 rated safety system,

online knowledge management system to reduce

human error, technologies to detect spills and formation

of vapor clouds in the tank farm area including

hydrocarbon detectors, rim seal fire detection in tanks,

CCTV to detect spillage and better Human Machine

Interface (HMI) to ensure error free monitoring and

response.

Please join us at our booth at the StockExpo 2016 to learn more about our solutions and how they can improve the efficiency of your operations and your ROI.
