Kellogg’s manufacturing relationship with Omaha dates back to the 1940’s and our local workers take great pride in Kellogg's brand and heritage while also demonstrating your company’s commitment to integrity and ethics. The American labor movement and Kellogg’s have been the backbone of the American middle-class for generations and are both quintessential to the American Dream. Kellogg’s workforce has maintained the world’s supply of nutritious and affordable food even during our current global pandemic. Never have front-line workers been more important to our food security or more essential to a company's bottom line. I understand the increasing competition in the food industry and Kellogg’s efforts to continue to grow. We recently passed the ImagiNE Nebraska Act in the Nebraska Legislature specifically to help companies like Kellogg’s grow and retain their employment base and I am committed to providing any additional help I can to help Kellogg’s operations in Nebraska prosper. As contract negotiations continue, I ask that you work with your workforce in good-faith, as you historically have, and ensure that your workers are compensated with wages and benefits that match their hard work and dedication to the Kellogg Company and for their service to the nation’s ongoing food security and nutrition. Dear Mr. Cahillane,

I am writing today in regards to the contract negotiations with the Kellogg Company that impacts hundreds of jobs in Omaha, NE.

Kellogg’s workforce has maintained the world’s supply of nutritious and aordable food even during our current global pandemic. Never have front-line workers been more important to our food security or more essential to a company's bottom line.

I understand the increasing competition in the food industry and Kellogg’s eorts to continue to grow. We recently passed the ImagiNE Nebraska Act in the Nebraska Legislature specically to help companies like Kellogg’s grow and retain their employment base and I am committed to providing any additional help I can to help Kellogg’s operations in Nebraska prosper.

As contract negotiations continue, I ask that you work with your workforce in good-faith, as you historically have, and ensure that your workers are compensated with wages and benets that match their hard work and dedication to the Kellogg Company and for their service to the nation’s ongoing food security and nutrition.
