Took on an area with a climate score of 69%, the worst on the region(consisting of 5 areas) and through engaging the teams got this score to 75% within 6 months. The climate scores employee satisfaction within their roles.

Managed the area to become the most productive and efficient on the region and top 3 in the company.

Consistently over a 5 year period delivered payroll and ran stores so efficiently that the area had £1m budgetary surplus at the end of this time.

Opened numerous new stores (ranging from 7-40,000 sq.foot sales) including Hoddesdon, the 500th store opening which had key Morrisons players in attendance including Dalton Philips,the then CEO,and media coverage from BBC and Sky news.

Mentored numerous store conversions from Safeway to Morrisons following the acquisition.Coaching to ensure stores were correct to Morrisons remit and that the Safeway colleagues were “brought into the fold”.

Delivered the "Store of the Future" programme into many sites.This could take anything up to 8 weeks dependant on work involved.Ensuring the store continued to trade through these

difficult times and that customer satisfaction was top of the agenda.Then to open the newly formatted store under the new programme to board director visits.

Identified and supported numerous duty Managers to become Store General Managers over a period of 10 years(approximately 15.)

Due to size/geography of area every visit had to be key talking to the colleagues and spending time with the Store General Manager to ensure all aspects of business in good shape and that targets/kpis would be achieved.

Working hand in hand and supporting all internal auditors to ensure stores were compliant to shrinkage results/food safety/health and safety/trading standards.
