Lucrarea reprezint rezultatul cercetrilor ntreprinse asupra complexelor cerine aledistribuiei urbane a mrfurilor, printr-o investigare de detaliu a problemelor practice care se cersoluionate i prin recurs la o analiz aprofundat a aspectelor teoretice, a instrumentelor imetodelor tiinifice aplicabile n domeniu. Studiul realizeaz, n acelai timp, o prezentaresistematizat a claselor de modele utilizabile n cmpul de cercetare a distribuiei mrfurilor,subliniind rolul cercetrilor operaionale n soluionarea problemelor distribuiei.

Teza ofer o viziune integrat asupra problemelor distribuiei mrfurilor, focalizndu-se peproblemele logistice i dezvoltrile tehnologice i ncercnd s gseasc soluii pentru cretereaeficienei distribuiei urbane. Prezentarea modalitilor de cuantificare i analiz a costuriloraplicabile n distribuia urban mrfurilor, inclusiv a costurilor sociale, pune n eviden o seriede particulariti ale analizei costurilor n domeniul distribuiei mrfurilor. Sunt analizate

raporturile existente ntre procesul distribuiei mrfurilor i spaiul urban, evideniindu-seinfluenele reciproce, modalitile posibile de eliminare a efectelor negative asupra mediului itraficului urban.

Researches on the logistics of freights distribution in large urban

agglomerations

The paper represents the result of researches made on the complex requirements of urbanfreights distribution, through a detailed investigation of practical problems which are requested to be solved and appealing to a thoroughgoing study of theoretical aspects, of instruments andscientific methods applicable in this field. The study realizes, also, a systematized presentation ofmodels types usable in the research field of freights distribution, underlining the role ofoperational researches in solving the problems of distribution.

The thesis offers an integrated vision about the problems of freights distribution, focusing onthe logistical problems and technological developments and trying to find solutions for growing

the efficiency of urban distribution. The presentation of some quantification and analysis methodsin urban freights distribution, including the social costs, highlights a series of peculiarities in thecosts analysis from the field of freight distribution. There are analyzed the existent relationsbetween the process of goods distribution and urban space, revealing the reciprocal influences,the possible means to eliminate the negative effects on the urban environment and traffic.

In the performed study case it is proposed a model applicable in urban freight of pharmaceutical products that integrates the inventory management and the transport of goods,taking in account, besides the consequences determined by the modifications of commonparameters used in inventory management models, the effects of inclusion the transport costs.
