contacted Ed Rice because he was the one selling the beer to minors and remembered the four teenagers.

The Teenagers had to pay $400 as well as serve 80 hours of community service.
Once the Browns learned that the committee did not plan to check IDs they decided to sue the festival committee.

to check IDs or refuse to serve people who were already intoxicated
Cheryl told the attorney that the committee knew of the issue of underage drinking ,but decided to drop it because it was too much of a hassle

Jonathan Allen said that he did not instruct the servers to check IDs and he revealed that the committee did not plan on changing that in the future because it was too hard.
The four teenagers admitted that what they did was wrong, however they all felt strongly that had they not been drunk they would not have committed the crime.
