Make Your DecisionAfter any interview put yourself in the following situation:You have four job offers with equal perks. If you were offered this particular job would you take it?
If your answer is no then: dont let a job offer change your decision. Although it is true that any job is better than no job, having the wrong job is often a disaster.
Send a Thank you LetterThank you notes serve several purposes:Separate you from the other applicantsDemonstrate your responsibility and desire for the job This should be addressed to the interviewer and may take the form of an:Handwritten noteStandard business letterEmail (only if time is limited)A thank you letter should be sent within 24 hours of the interview.
Send a Thank you LetterWhen writing a thank you letter be sure to:Spell the companys and interviewers name correctlyUse an appropriate format: http://adresnet.com/buisnessletter.htmlUse a high quality, neutral color stationary if sending a handwritten or standard business letter.
The Follow-upA follow up willlet the company know that you are sill interested in working for them.give you the opportunity to ask what you may have done wrong during the interview.open up different job opportunities that may not have been available otherwise.
This should be done the week after the hiring decision was supposed to have been made.
Let GoAfter youve done your best and taken all the prudent steps you can, let go. There is nothing you can do to control the outcome.
Look back and make notes on what you could have done better or differently, this will be useful for any future interviews that you may have.
