Kay Bennett’s mom and dad helped her know Jesus. And they set a good example for Kay by following Jesus in their everyday lives and caring for others.

Kay’s dad was a farmer. When Kay was a young child, she would go for walks around the pasture with him. He would tell her to watch where she stepped and to step in his footprints. He did not want Kay to step on a snake or something else. Kay says, “I learned to step where my Heavenly Father steps from learning to step where my earthly father stepped.”

Who are the people who help you know Jesus better? Who has set a good example for you by following Jesus?

Trace your foot. Write the names of people who support and encourage you to follow Jesus inside your footprint.

Add the names of missionaries who have inspired you. Include missionaries such as Kay Bennett, missions teams from your church, and anyone else who shares how God is at work all around the world.

Pray for them. Thank God for them. Ask God to bless them.
