《一千零一夜》由一系列記載伊斯蘭黃金時期的中

東故事編纂而成，當中不少故事如《阿拉丁與神

燈》、《水手仙巴》和《阿里巴巴》，至今仍膾炙

人口。由佘米高改編取材自這些跨時代的瑰寶，配

上充滿異國情調的旋律、寶萊塢風格的舞蹈和震盪

人心的百老匯式歌謠，原創音樂劇《天方夜譚》因

應而生。

忠於原著，《天方夜譚》以蘇丹王沙里亞的宮殿為

起始，當中有剛與其新婚的青春貌美少女—雪希

拉莎德，但新皇后都會在婚後首個日出遭到處決。

為求保住性命，雪希拉莎德以詼諧有趣的故事吸引

住新郎，隨著她的故事開展，宮中奴僕紛紛化身為

水手、公主、精靈、魔法師和樂手。最終，她能否

軟化蘇丹王的心，改變自己的命運呢？

是次《天方夜譚》把英雄仙巴、阿拉丁和阿里巴巴

One Thousand and One Nights is a collection of Middle Eastern folktales compiled

during the Islamic Golden Age. Many of these stories are familiar to us all including

Aladdin’s Wonderful Lamp, Sinbad the Sailor and Ali Baba. Michael Sharmon’s

Arabian Dreams is an original musical adaptation of these timeless classics,

brimming with exotic melodies, Bollywood-inspired dance and heart-stirring

Broadway-style ballads.

True to their original form, Arabian Dreams is set in the palace of the Sultan

Shahryar where a young and beautiful maiden called Scheherazade is presented

as the Sultan’s new bride. The Sultan’s previous brides have been executed the

day after their marriage. Despite her destiny, Scheherazade charms her groom

with witty storytelling. All the servants of the Sultan's palace become sailors,

princesses, genies, magicians and musicians as her stories unfold. The question is

– will she be able to soften the Sultan’s broken heart and change the course of her

fate?

Arabian Dreams brings to the stage the exciting voyages of the heroic Sinbad

and the magical adventures of Aladdin and Ali Baba. We also encounter the feisty

Princess Jasmine and the steadfast Morgiana. Whether you have grown up with

these characters or you are discovering them for the first time, we invite you to sit

香港城市室樂團 City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong

香港城市室樂團於 1999年創立，為亞洲首屈一指的室樂團。樂團曾與不少享譽國際的指揮和獨奏家合作演出，

包括馬連拿爵士、占士‧高威爵士、張永宙、朱利安‧

萊‧韋伯、布蘭福特‧馬薩里斯、菲利普‧昂特蒙、

卡爾‧詹金斯爵士及英皇合唱團等。除了與香港芭蕾舞

團、法國五月藝術節及香港電台第四台等文化單位合作，

樂團亦曾到北京、上海、成都及意大利巡演。樂團創作

及演出多個適合青少年的節目，包括《雪人》與《大熊》、

《莫扎特的魔法》、《揭開韋華第的神秘面紗》、《星．

巴赫》及 2017年榮獲葡萄牙青年觀眾音樂大獎的「公眾之選」音樂劇《失蝨室樂團》。此外，樂團曾灌錄多張

廣受美譽的鐳射唱片，更與伊芙蓮．格妮、米卡拉．帕

蒂莉、探戈音樂大師丹尼爾．賓奈利及寶莉．費曼等合

香港城市室樂團由藝術總監兼雙簧管首席黎燕欣創立及

領導，她本身也是得獎的音樂家；2009年更獲香港特區政府民政事務局頒授嘉許狀。法國指揮尚．托勞於 2008年至 2016年間出任香港城市室樂團首席指揮。阿美尼亞指揮及鋼琴家瓦安．馬狄洛辛由 2019年 9月起接任樂團首席指揮。

City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK) was founded in 1999

and is one of Asia’s leading chamber orchestras. CCOHK has performed

extensively with many world class artists including Sir Neville Marriner,

Sir James Galway, Sarah Chang, Julian Lloyd Webber, Branford Marsalis,

Philippe Entremont, Sir Karl Jenkins and The King’s Singers. In addition to

collaborations with Hong Kong Ballet, French May Arts Festival and RTHK

Radio 4, CCOHK has been invited to perform on tour in Beijing, Shanghai,

Chengdu and Italy. CCOHK’s programmes for young audiences include The Snowman & The Bear, Magnificent Mozart, Vivaldi Unmasked, The Star Bach and

the musical Bug Symphony which was awarded the Public Choice Award of

the Young Audiences Music Awards (YAMawards) in Portugal in 2017. CCOHK

has released several internationally acclaimed CD recordings featuring world

premiere works in collaboration with Dame Evelyn Glennie, Michala Petri and

tango masters Daniel Binelli and Polly Ferman.

At the helm of CCOHK’s artistic and executive planning is CCOHK’s founder

Leanne Nicholls, herself a prize-winning performer who was awarded a

commendation certificate from the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong

SAR Government in 2009. French conductor Jean Thorel served as chief

conductor from 2008 to 2016 and was succeeded by the Armenian conductor

and pianist Vahan Mardirossian in 2019.

Corinna Cheng as Scheherazade / Narrator / Maarika (Aladdin's Mother)

Corinna Cheng is an artist, singer and actress who speaks fluent Cantonese and English. Her parents are from New Zealand and Australia, her husband is a Hong Kong Chinese, and she was born and raised in Hong Kong. From 2008 to 2020, she was an actress for Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) and starred in several popular drama series including Inbound Troubles, Come On Cousin and Limelight Years. In 2013 she won Second Runner Up in the TVB artist singing competition The Voice of The Stars and released her debut Cantonese album in the same year. She has received many awards including Metro Radio music awards and RTHK awards for her music.

Cheng graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in 2006 majoring in Musical Theatre Dance. During her studies, she was the recipient of The Society of The Academy for Performing Arts, the Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship (Outstanding Awards) and the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarship. She has been sought after for many corporate performances, commercial advertisements, theatre shows and has supported many church and charity events. Her lead roles in theatre include Annie, The Boy Friend, Disco Inferno the Musical, Snow Queen, The Pajama Game, The Bluebird of Happiness, Dead Man's Cell Phone and Smokey Joe's Cafe. She has also worked as a backing vocalist, dancer, choreographer, a dance and vocal instructor, a model and as an emcee.

Sandra Leung Waters as Aesha / Genie / Morgiana

Sandra Leung Waters has appeared as an international stage performer and choreographer. At the age of eight she made her television debut on Australia’s Young Talent Time. She won the Melbourne Tap Dancing Championship for three consecutive years and was a performer for DanceSport Australia appearing regularly on the television network Channel 10. She has performed as a vocalist at spectacular events across the Asia Pacific region, including the opening act for Elton John as part of a CLSA Investors’ Forum. She has also appeared as both an actor and voiceover artist on film, TV and radio.

Leung has performed lead roles in productions of Cabaret, 42nd Street and Chicago. Her performance as Vivian in the musical Auditions won rave reviews at the 70th Anniversary of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival describing her as “uber-talented.” Her choreography credits include West Side Story, Pippin and Sweet Charity.

藝人陳明恩能唱能演，能說一口流利的廣東話

與英語。她的父母來自新西蘭和澳洲，她則在

香港土生土長，更與一名香港華人成婚。2008年加入電視廣播有限公司（TVB），迄今已參演了多齣大受歡迎的戲劇，包括《老表，你好

嘢！》、《老表，你好 hea！》和《華麗轉身》。2013年，她贏取了 TVB的《星夢傳奇》歌唱比賽季軍，並於同年推出了個人首張廣東話唱片《香港有個陳明恩》，並為她贏得了新城電

台與香港電台的多個獎項。

陳氏在 2006年畢業於香港演藝學院，主修音樂劇舞，在學期間獲頒演藝學院友誼社、成龍慈善基金獎學金（傑出獎項）及尤德爵士紀念

基金獎學金。她經常獲邀參與各類舞台表演及拍攝商業廣告，也熱心

梁月華飾演艾依莎／精靈／摩爾迦娜

梁月華曾於多國舞台上演出，並負責編舞。早

在八歲的時候，她便在澳洲電視節目《年輕才

藝時間秀》上首次演出。除了在墨爾本踢躂舞

蹈大賽中連續三年榮獲冠軍，她亦是澳洲體育

舞蹈表演的演藝人員，定期在澳洲電視第十台

上亮相。另外，她曾多次在亞太區的大型演出

中擔任主唱，包括在里昂證券投資人說明會上

參與艾頓．莊的開幕表演，同時積極參與演出和配音等工作，活躍於

電影、電視及廣播界。

梁氏曾主演多部作品，包括《歌廳》、《第 42街》及《芝加哥》，並於愛丁堡藝穗節 70週年時參與音樂劇《Auditions》，出演「薇薇安」一角，表現好評如潮，更獲大讚「極有才華」。她參與編舞的作

Michael Sharmon as King Shahryar / Sorcerer / Jafar

Born in Australia, Michael Sharmon has worked in TV, film and theatre as both an actor and director. He has performed the roles of Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Javert in Les Misérables and Hamlet in the Shakespeare classic Hamlet. On TV, he played the role of Johann Sebastian Bach in Bach-All About the Music and appeared in the film Nim’s Island starring Jodie Foster. He has worked with Opera Australia in various productions including Verdi’s Nabucco and Mozart’s Don Giovanni. More recently he appeared in Timeless as well as an original show about Judy Garland entitled Lions, Typhoons and Judy, Oh My! which he also penned the script for. Sharmon has enjoyed a long relationship with The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection (AFTEC) and was selected as AFTEC’s emerging Director in 2016. As part of the experience he travelled to the UK to further his studies in directing at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art.

In Hong Kong, he has directed many productions including Peter Pan, Edinburgh Festival Fringe’s muscial Auditions and The Wizard of Oz. Besides, Sharmon was a narrator for the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong’s 2018 production of The Snowman & The Bear. In 2020, he composed more than fifty original songs and adapted stories for Musical Story Time, a new podcast series for kids currently trending on social media and available on all popular podcast platforms. In 2021, the podcast received two Webby Awards (Podcast for Family & Kids) for both Original Music and Sound Design from the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

佘米高飾演沙里亞國王／巫師／賈方

佘米高出生於澳大利亞，曾於電視、電影和戲

Freddy Au Yeung as King of Serandib / Aladdin / Robber Chief

Born in Canada and raised in Hong Kong, Freddy Au Yeung studied vocal performance and drama at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is currently working as a freelance singer, actor and musician. He is experienced in performing Chinese pop music and has appeared with celebrities including Leehom Wang, Eason Chan, C AllStar and Alfred Hui. He was nominated to record the theme song for The 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong’s return with producer Chiu Tsang-hei. In 2018, he had successfully held his solo concert.

Au Yeung’s voice can also be heard as a singer and voiceover artist in many musicals and performances in Hong Kong and the USA. He was invited by the Hong Kong Ballet as the live jazz vocalist of The Great Gatsby and nominated as a proud representative of the Musical Theatre Initiative Award in the musical Godspell – held at the Kennedy Centre American College Theatre Festival. He also served as a voice actor for animated films including My Little Pony, Frozen and The Lion King–as the role of Simba. Apart from performing, he has a great passionate in teaching the younger generation. He teaches singing and musical theatre at various schools, organisations and he is the singing coach for four consecutive years of the Summer Musical School (SMS) at HKAPA's EXCEL.

Alisha Budhrani as Jasmine / Ameena / Cassim

Alisha Budhrani grew up in Hong Kong and is a triple threat international performer with experience performing in both Hollywood and Bollywood. She has topped the US Billboard Charts with her own original music and was previously under a recording contract with Michael Jackson’s mentor Quincy Jones. She has toured all over the world as a member of the girl group BLUSH and has appeared at the 55th Grammy Awards. She has also appeared as the opening act for international celebrities including Jessie J, Justin Bieber, Diana Ross, The Black-Eyed Peas and with Snoop Dogg on the American TV programme So You Think You Can Dance.

Budhrani has adapted, directed and devised numerous theatre productions and is sought after to design special events and corporate shows. She also works as a producer and artistic director and as stylised movement and choreography for stars including Eason Chan, Jasmin Walia and Zack Knight. She currently mentors aspiring performers and gives regular master classes in drama, dance and music.

歐陽豐彥飾演錫蘭國王／阿拉丁／強盜首領

歐陽豐彥是一位歌手，演員和音樂家。他獲取

獎學金並畢業於伯克利音樂學院，主修聲樂表

演，副修戲劇。他在華語流行音樂方面很有

經驗，曾合作的歌手包括王力宏、陳奕迅、C AllStar、許廷鏗等等；亦曾與著名製作人及作曲家趙增熹一同為香港回歸二十週年錄製主題

曲。2018年，更成功舉辦個人音樂會。

歐陽氏曾在香港和美國參與大小的音樂劇和表演，2019年初獲香港芭蕾舞團邀在《大亨小傳》芭蕾舞劇裡擔任現場爵士歌手，亦曾於美

國大學音樂劇節的頒獎典禮演出。他也積極參與電影配音的工作，當

中包括《小馬寶莉》、《魔雪奇緣》，以及在《獅子王》電影裡擔任

辛巴。除了熱愛表演，歐陽氏也熱衷於教導年青一代。他在香港多間

中小學及機構擔任戲劇和歌唱導師，過去四年均在香港演藝進修學院

的《暑期音樂劇大搞作》擔任歌唱導師。

布莉莎飾演茉莉／阿美娜／卡西姆

布莉莎於香港長大，是在荷李活和寶萊塢均有

Roy Rolloda is a professional musical theatre and concert performer from the Philippines who has headlined numerous musical theatre productions in Asia and in the USA. For several years he performed as principal vocalist at Hong Kong Disneyland before travelling around the world on luxury cruise liners as a member of the prestigious Royal Caribbean Singers and Dancers. His roles include Quasimodo at the Golden Mickeys, the Baker in Into the Woods, Mr. Tumnus in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Sinbad in Arabian Dreams, Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Daniel in Daniel and the Lions' Den. He also toured Singapore and Bangkok performing the role of Eng in Chang and Eng for Action Theatre. Rolloda is currently department head for performing arts at Kids’ Gallery where he teaches musical theatre and directs shows and productions for junior actors.

精彩的歌舞表演。他曾出演的角色包括《米奇

金獎音樂劇》中的「加西莫多」、《魔法黑森林》中的「麵包師傅」、

《獅子．女巫．魔衣櫥》中的人羊吐納思先生、《天方夜譚》中的

「仙巴」、《約瑟的神奇彩衣》中的「約瑟」、以及《但以理和獅子

坑》中的「但以理」。他亦曾在新加坡和曼谷參與行動劇場的《Chang and Eng》音樂劇巡演，當中出演「Eng」一角。現為 Kids’ Gallery表演藝術部主任，用心培育年幼演員，教導他們演出音樂劇，並擔任
