STEP 7: GIVE YOURSELF POSITIVE SUGGESTIONS
• The Conscious mind: the quality or state of self-awareness of being aware of an external object or something within oneself.
• The Subconscious Mind: the storage room of everything that is currently not in the conscious mind.
Conscious and Sub-conscious mind can work together in harmony only if you learn to affect your mind intelligently.
GIVE YOURSELF POSITIVE SUGGESTIONS
Three forms of control you can exert:
Suggestion
Self-Suggestion
Auto-suggestion
SUGGESTION
Any stimulus sent through your brain through your five senses: Sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell are the forms of Suggestion.
SELF-SUGGESTION
• Self-suggestion is the process of purposely and deliberately offering stimuli to yourself in the form of seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, or smelling .
• Under suggestion, you were warned to see it that what enters your five senses is wholesome and gratifying.
• Look for the good in whatever you see or hear or taste or smell or feel.
SELF-SUGGESTION
AUTO-SUGGESTION
• The transmission and communication of information stored in the subconscious mind back to your conscious mind.
• It returns to you in the form of ideas, dreams, feeling, concepts, principles, solutions, and thought.
• Feed your mind with good and wholesome thoughts and information, so you will supply the subconscious with nourishing material to feed back to you.
