We are delighted to welcome back acclaimed violinist Stefan Jackiw as he performs Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5. The NYCP highlights Wagner’s bicentenary celebration with one of the composer’s best known masterworks, Prelude to “Tristan and Isolde” masterfully transcribed for string orchestra by Yoomi Paick. This season opening cycle also introduces award winning composer Vivian Fung’s String Sinfonietta, and one of Mozart’s late compositions, Adagio and Fugue.
