Step 3: The Three Layer Coating AdvantageOur triple-coat process starts with a high-grade 99.99% pure zinc coating.
This is followed by an organic coating on the zinc surface which seals it
and provides extra protection against corrosion.
A coating of zinc rich paint (with 400 hrs of salt spray resistance) is
sprayed on the interior part as well to protect the interior steel surface.
Features and Bene�tsIn line galvanizing produces a bright, virtually lead-free coating that is exceptionally durable and stands up to severe fabrication processes.
CORROSION RESISTANCEThe pipe is 100% coated inside and outside post welding to eliminate any exposure
of raw steel. The top coat not only protects underlying zinc but comes pre-primed for additional surface coatings.
DURABILITY AND STRENGTHOur mechanical pipe can provide a minimum 350 MPa yield and 380 MPa tensile in
order to meet your toughest design challenges.
SUPERIOR QUALITYSince our pipes are stronger, a thinner wall thickness is used which makes the pipes
lighter in weight. We o�er a range of wall thicknesses combined with a powerful yield
strength and tensile properties which deliver a heavy duty pipe being still light in weight.
NO WHITE RUSTThe top coat ensures a smooth finish and acts as a protective layer on the finished pipe. This prevents the
formation of any white rust on the pipe.
PURE AND THICKER ZINC COATINGThe triple coat process has a pure 99.99% high grade zinc coating and no other metals are found within the
product. Therefore, TriCoat has more pure zinc layer than any other galvanised tube.
EASY TO WELDThe highly uniform coating of 99.9% zinc gives a faster and a more dependable weld without needing to remove
the coating, thus making it easy to weld for fabrication.
ECO FRIENDLYTriCoat pipes are free of life threatening elements such as hexavalent chrome, lead and cadmium.

In Conventional Pipes, the thickness of pure zinc layer is less and alloyed
layer is more which can easily erode over time.
In TriCoat, zinc is uniformly coated with special technique resulting in
better top coating with more pure zinc layer and minimal alloy layer. Hence
TriCoat becomes more corrosion resistant than normal galvanised pipes.

• Exterior Surface: The coating’s ability to resist is tested by
exposing it to the salt fog with a maximum of 5% red rust for
400 hours or more. . The test is conducted in

• Interior Surface: The interior zinc-rich surface is exposed
to the salt fog with a maximum of 5% red dust for 400
hours to test its ability to resist. The test is conducted in

concentration is 1000 ppm but in our products it is 0 ppm. Similarly, lead and cadmium’s
acceptable concentration is 1000 ppm and 100 ppm respectively but in our products its
concentration is 30 ppm ≥ and 20 ppm ≥ .
