Partnership with CNES, EUMETSAT, ISRO and NOAA Global system aboard polar-orbiting satellites:

Current spacecraft: NOAA-15/16/18/19 (USA) Metop-A/B (EUMETSAT) SARAL (ISRO)

Future spacecraft: NOAA: Polar Free Flyer (2017), then TBD (~2022) EUMETSAT: Metop-C (2017), then EPS-SG (~2022)

21,000 active platforms; 1,900 system use agreements; 115 countries Major applications: Wildlife Studies, Meteorology/Oceanography, Fishing

Vessel Monitoring, Ship Tracking (anti-piracy) Data Latency Requirement: 60-mins (w/30-mins strongly preferred) Frequency uses:

Platforms to Spacecraft: 401.65 MHz (all/now); 399.9-400.05 MHz (2017+) Spacecraft to Platforms (Metop-A/SARAL): 465.9875 MHz Spacecraft to Ground Stations: 1695-1710 MHz
