Network 11 Demographics

● We have seen a 31.4% decline in PK-8 residents residing in the Englewood boundaries between 2008 and 2015

● On an elementary level, we are seeing higher enrollment numbers than students residing within the boundaries. Charter schools do not play a large role in the increased enrollment numbers.

● We have seen a 28% decline in 9-12 residents residing in the Englewood boundaries between 2008 and 2015

● In 2008 the 4 neighborhood High Schools made up 73% of total HS enrollment in the area. In 2015 those same 4 High Schools made up only 21% of enrollment. Charter/alternative schools made up 46% of the enrollment. Robeson has suffered the most significant student loss over this time period

by grade level and Diverse Learner status.

Students are on-track if they earn a C or higher in both reading and math and have attendance rate of 95% or

higher.

SY16 Summer Bridge

Due to efforts during the SY16 school year, 108 less students were retained or 3.4% less of students in promotion grade levels. Schools held parent meetings and monitored students who were at risk of being retained. N11 has continued to decrease the # of students retained for two years.
