Dear Guests of Mount Mary,Welcome to Mount Mary University – the Creative Campus!

Several years ago, Mount Mary embarked on an exciting, imaginative journey in becoming a Creative Campus. Through this initiative, we are teaching, learning, designing and problem solving in a new culture of fresh thinking punctuated by collaborative learning and working. Not only are we working differently in the classroom, the meeting room and the board room, we have taken our creative energy into our larger community.

The Starving Artists’ Show and CREO, our annual fashion, art and design show, are showcases for a host of creative people who make Milwaukee a talent magnet and innovative hub. Today, we are thankful for 46 continuous years of the Starving Artists’ Show and the many dedicated alumnae whose pioneering spirit and creative energy bring this event to a successful conclusion each year. The Mount Mary Alumnae Association provides a dedicated network of volunteers who plan and guide the Show. The tickets that you purchase raise funds to support student scholarships, helping us prepare another generation of artists and designers. Please enjoy the Show, knowing that you are also supporting our talented students and their ongoing efforts to create, express, inspire and lead!
