people than anyone else

• Four in five people of faith believe it’s right to tackle prejudice

against LGB people where it exists

• Eight in ten would be comfortable with a LGB religious leader

• Four in five believe LGB people should be able to be open about

their sexual orientation in any circumstances

• Three in five were supportive of equal marriage

• Tackling homophobic bullying in schools (92%)

LIVING TOGETHER - CONCLUSIONS

• The religious people that responded to our survey did not hold

homophobic and biphobic views as a whole

• Meeting LGB people made a huge difference to people’s views

• LGB people and people of faith had a greater number of shared

experiences than they initially thought
