The biggest strengths of the IPM1 Abrams is its mobility and armour. With a moving Rate Of Fire (ROF) of 2 they easily outmanoeuvre any Soviet tank on the battlefield, and their 19 Front Armour gives them an armour save against anything on the tabletop.

The M60 Patton has the same gun as the IPM1 tank, giving it plenty of punch, butlacks some of the other improvements of the newer Abrams. Use terrain to avoid getting hit and manoeuvre into the Soviets flanks for maximum benefit.

The M3A2 Bradley boasts a powerful TOW-2 missile. At Anti-Tank 23 this is a great option for destroying the Soviet armour. The Bradley wasn’t design to slug it out with tanks like the heavily armoured Abrams though so make sure you kill what-ever you shoot at. They also have a 25mm Bushmaster gun with an excellent rate of fire that can shred enemy vehicles like the Soviet BMPs.

Your T-80 and T-64 tanks are the best tanks in the Soviet army, heavily armoured and equipped with anti-tank missiles that destroy helicopters as well as tanks. The T-64 is a second generation MBT, the first Soviet tank to feature the powerful 125mm gun, an upgrade to older tanks like the T-55 and T-62. It can also fire a guided missile, capa-ble of shooting tanks and helicopters alike.

The T-80 is the latest, third generation MBT. It takes the tried and tested T-64 and adds more armour and ERA armour that makes it even more surviveable. It features the same gun, but an improved anti-tank missile.
