What made you want to become a personal trainer?I grew up in a family of athleticism. My brother was cap-tain of his swim team, my father competed in triathlons andI participated in a slew of sports: baseball, football, basket-ball and extreme fighting. I loved how I felt and wantedothers to experience the same gratification of establishinga healthy lifestyle.
How many times a week do you work out? I train 2.5hours a day six days a week.
What’s the most challenging thing you face as a per-sonal trainer? Trying to help my clients break their old habits,i.e. poor nutrition, low water intake and lack of sleep. Just likea master painter envisioning what his blank canvas will ulti-mately look like, I can foresee what my clients will look like.It’s now my job to help them see the vision.
What’s something people would be surprised to learnabout you? When I first moved here to Hollywood threeyears ago, I lived out of my car for a short time. I look backand it was well worth it.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I contin-ue to help others by answering their fitness questions in myFit column for Frontiers. I run and operate my websiteaaronsavvy.com, customizing fitness and nutritional plans forindividuals. As a former FX Original Toughman Fighter, I amcurrently working with some local clubs in West Hollywood increating the ultimate fight club; raw and up-close for yourpure entertainment. What inspires you? My clients inspire me. I have had theopportunity to train and work with some amazing individualsover the past ten plus years who have taught me about life,others’ views and a greater understanding of self-gratitudeand appreciation.

What’s your motto for living life? Just because you havelife does not mean you live life, so live life.
What made you want to become a personal trainer?I was 50 lbs. overweight and I lost that 50 lbs. myself duringone of the toughest points in my life and changed my life for-ever, and now I have the opportunity to change others’ lives.
How many times a week do YOU work out? Four to sixtimes per week.
What’s the best part about being a personal trainer?You have the opportunity to makes changes in a person’s lifethey never thought were possible.
What’s the most challenging thing you face as a per-sonal trainer? Finding the significant emotional experiencethat will help inspire and motivate my client to reach theirtrue potential.
What’s something people would be surprised to learnabout you? I’m a big WWE “fake” wrestling fan.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Hangingout with friends, going to the beach, going clubbing andrelaxing and taking it easy.
What inspires you? People inspire me by overcomingobstacles that come in their way, sometimes during thetoughest times in their lives, but getting though them and inthe end they become stronger because of it.
