1DRAW a line onto the wooden block by

following the line of your arm. Starting from thisline you have to draw the profile of the woodensupport. Do this similar to the drawing of figure1. Don’t forget to draw the holes for the velcrostrip.

4Mill a slot of 10 mm of depth in th bottom

front of the support. This slot must be 35 mmlong. For doing this you need to put the supportin a locked position.

5finish by sanding the wooden support and

give it a few layers of varnish for an extrasmooth finish and for protecting the wood.

7Drill 2 4mm holes into the end of the rod

that is still square. Create a countersink.

8grind the back of the rod till it’s rounded.

9draw the desired shape onto th steel plate

something like shown in figure 4. Don’t be afraidto adapt this to your own hand

and grind the plate into the right shape.

radius of approximately 20mm. This can easilybe done with a vise and a piece of woodrounded with a radius of 20mm.

12weld the steel rod onto the bended steel

plate. Do this under the right angle adapted tothe user. Clean up with a grinding machine ifnecessary

13bend the steel rod 85 degrees with a radius

of 22mm. The easiest way of doing this is with avise and hammer. To be able to create the rightradius use a piece of would that is rounded.

15Drill 2 holes with a diameter of 3,5 mm.

These holes should be at the same distance asthe holes in the lemmet of the knife. In our casethis is a distance of 20mm.

And thread these holes with a M4 tap

17grind a small sloth into the piece you just

welded. The sloth needs a thickness to fit theknife. (± 2 mm) And the depth of the slot shouldbe 10 mm.

18Drill 2 holes with diameter 7 mm in the plate

above the holes in the square rod. These arenecessary to be able to screw the metal knifeholder onto the wooden support.

19separate the lemmet of the knife from its

wood of the handle.

And cut off the excess parts. You

only need around 45 mmof the handle.

21Paint the metal knife holder in the colour of

your choice. Make sure to use paint suitable formetal. Cover the knife with some paper tape tomake sure you don’t paint the knife itself.

23Pull the two velcro straps through the holes

in the wooden support. Making sure they arelong enough makes it easier to close them. Don’tfix them so you can take them out again to cleanthe knife.
