GENERAL NOTES

Situation Model Dairy Farm lies just out of Burton on Trent and has excellent national road network access via the A38 and from the A444 From the centre of Burton On Trent pick up the A444 Leicester Road continue up through Stapenhill and turn left onto Violet Way by the Brizlincote sign. Pass Violet Way Academy School on the right and travel uphill through the new houses and down over the crown of the hill. At the bottom of the hill on Beaufort Road, turn at the mini-roundabout right into Grafton Road with the entrance to Model Dairy Farm lying 250 yards on the right. From the A511 Ashby Road travelling into Burton pass Burton Golf Club on the right and at the Esso Garage and round about turn left into Beaufort Road (sign down into Brizlincote.) Travel through all the new houses to the first round about by Tesco Express and travel straight over again continuing on Beaufort Road. At the bottom of the hill turn left into Grafton Road with the entrance to the farm lying 250 yards on the right.

FOREWORD

This genuine sale at Model Dairy Farm arises as a result of the farm being let by Mr Geoff Lomas and he is now fully retiring from active farming. There is a very large range of chains, spares and sundries together with workshop equipment and many locals will know that Model Dairy Farm was up until approximately 7 years ago the base for a large plant hire operation in addition to a large farming enterprise. Several of the machines within the sale have undertaken very little work with the stars of the show including an AJP 16 Ton Monocoque Grain Trailer together with two JCB Telehandlers and two 4WD Case Tractors. The Case 210 Puma is in very good order having undertaken just over 2200 hours and comes complete with multi-controller spec and Zuidberg Front Linkage. Purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this genuine event.
