• We can choose to not be like the sinful world around us: The Occult, Witchcraft, Prodigal living, etc. 1 Jn. 2:15-17

• Let us consider God’s word on the subject of Standing Firm in the Faith. Deut. 18:9-12; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1

• Knowing what Halloween includes, i.e. death, mischief, glorifying the occult, demons, horror, etc., Why would you celebrate it? Proverbs 8:36; 6:18

• We are commanded not to become involved with the unfruitful works of darkness (Eph. 5:11).

• Christians actually burned the witchcraft type books. Acts 19:11-20

• Today we need to look at the Bible, God’s Word and see what He instructs us. Jn. 8:32

• “Witchcraft,” was punishable by death in the Old Law. Exodus 22:18; Leviticus 19:31; 20:6, 27

• Today God wants them all to repent and come to Christ. Acts 8:9-24– Sorcery is opposed to Christianity and can cause

people to turn away from the Faith. Acts 13:6-12; cf. Phil. 1:27

• Follow Christ’s example. 1 Cor. 11:1

• Take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Eph. 6:10-18; Romans 13:12
