What is Gemba STP
Used by the leaders as a method to support culture, strategy, and engagement development.
• Support – During the Gemba Walk support the employees by removing roadblocks and providing necessary resources
• Teach – During the Gemba Walk if employees are unsure of the strategy, Lean Sigma tool application, controls such as quality, policies, or required skills then take the time to teach.
• Promote – During the Gemba Walk promote the type of culture you want in place, continuous improvement, safety, security, learning organization, teamwork, etc. Remember the best method of promoting, as a leader, is being the model.
