We would like to extend

congratulations to two members of our

management team on their recent pro-

motions.

Jill Maher, who has been with Farming-

ton for almost 10 years, has been promoted to

Area Operations Manager overseeing both

Farmington Square and our sister facility

Sweetbriar Villa.

With that, Jessica Lane, who has been with

Farmington almost 3 years, has been promot-

ed to Community Manager of Farmington to

oversee the day-to-day operations.

This is the time and season to be thankful.

When that last leaf falls,

remember me.

I will be symbolized as a windblown

colorful autumn leaf.

I am thankful that our souls hold up

longer than our bodies and minds,

For one day I may forget you,

But you will be there to hold my

hand and remind me of how much I

am loved.

The signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s and other

forms of dementia will vary from person to person. The

Alzheimer’s Association provides ten early warning

signs that may help in recognizing memory loss. If you

notice any of the below symptoms, please see a doc-

tor.

Memory loss that disrupts daily life

Challenges in planning or solving problems

Difficulty completing familiar tasks

Confusion with time or place

Trouble understanding visual images and spatial

relationships

New problems with words (in either speaking or

writing)

Misplacing things, unable to retrace steps

Poor judgement

Withdrawal from activities

Changes in mood/personality
