USABAND TOOL
HEAVY DUTY BANDING
- To Be Used With USABAND Light Duty Banding and Buckles
A drop forged tool with tensioning capability of over 2,400 lbs. and a built-in cutter. New, improved features include: A spring loaded gripper lever for improved banding tensioning. A friction held cutoff lever with plastic grip for easier operation. Permanent lubrication on the tension screw to extend tool life and speed clamping. A zinc plated chromate finish to provide superior corrosion resistance. A spin handle retaining ring keeps parts in tact. The banding tool is used to apply USA-BAND banding buckles and strapping.
Heavy duty banding is available in Type 201 stainless steel bright finish as well as the duller Matte finish(upon request). It is used for heavy-duty clamping applications. The .044” thick band in Type 201 stainless steel has a breaking strength of 5,500 lbs. double wrapped clamps are recommended for maximum strength.
Heavy Duty Buckles are offered in widths and metals to correspond to HD band. Clamps may be double wrapped for extra strength.
The USABAND Heavy Duty Tool has all the improved features of our standard duty tool. This HD Tool measures 16 1/2 in length and is designed to have a tension capacity of 6,600 lbs. The USABAND Heavy Duty Tool must be used with USABAND Heavy Duty banding and buckles only.
