Start Cowl:

Cast on 184 sts with color A.

Row 1: K4, P4, across all sts. Without twisting your stitches, work

in the round. Place a marker at the beginning of the round (move

marker at beginning of each round)

Rounds 2, 3, 4: K4, P4 around.

Rounds 5, 6, 7, 8: Join color B - P1 (K4, P4) around to the last 7

sts. End with K4, P3.

Rounds 9, 10, 11, 12: Pick up color A - P2 (K4, P4) around to the

last 6 sts. End with K4, P2.

Rounds 13, 14, 15, 16: Pick up color B - P3 (K4, P4) around to the

last 5 sts. End with K4, P1.

Rounds 17, 18, 19, 20: Pick up color A - (P4, K4) around.

Rounds 21, 22, 23, 24: Pick up color B - K1 (P4, K4) around to the

last 7 sts. End with P4, K3.

Rounds 25, 26, 27, 28: Pick up Color A - K2, (P4, K4) around to

the last 6 sts. End with P4, K2.

Rounds 29, 30, 31, 32: Pick up Color B - K3 (P4, K4) around to the

last 5 sts. End with P4, K1.

Rounds 33, 34, 35, 36: Pick up Color A - (K4, P4) around.

Repeat rounds 5-36 until your cowl measures 12 ½” or until the

desired height for you.

End with Color A. Weave in all ends. Use the beginning strand to

close any gap(s) left by not joining on the first row.
