Used as a standalone PAsystem, performers can benefit from a feature set designed to cover alltheirneeds, includingabuilt-inmixerwith twomic/instrument inputs,full three-bandEQwith sweepablemid,SmartEffects (modulationandreverb),Line6acousticguitarmodeling,whichimprovestheoutputsignalofanacousticguitaroutfittedwithpiezopickups,and12-bandfeedbacksuppression technology. For larger bands, live sound events, or houses of worship, StageSource L3t can be configured into full front-of-houseand monitor systems. Connected via L6 LINK, the proprietary Line 6networking protocol, StageSource L3t speakers automatically detecteachother and adjust their settings accordingly.Used in a systemwithStageSourceL3ssubwoofers,crossoversandlevelsareautomaticallysetforbest performance.

PresstheOnbuttontoenableordisableFeedbackSuppression.EachtimetheFeedbackSuppressionisturnedoff,allfiltersarereset.WhenFeedbackSuppressionisturnedbackon,analysisbeginsagainandiffeedbackisdetectedagain,thefiltersareturnedbackon.

Thefeedbackanalyzercanbesettooneofthreemodes,dependingonhowaggressivelytheanalysiswillseekoutpotentialfeedbackfrequencies.Pressand hold the On button to select between aggressive (red), medium (amber), or mild (green).

9. Acoustic Modeling –Mostacousticguitarsutilizeapiezopickupthatcapturesstringvibrationsbuttypicallydoesnotconveytheguitar’sbodyresonance aswell as amicrophone in front of a guitarwould.TheAcousticModeling feature of theL3t is based onLine 6’sVariaxAcoustictechnology,inwhichaphysicalmodelofanacousticguitar’snaturalbodyresonanceisappliedtothepiezosignaltosimulatethesoundofamic’edacousticguitarinthestudio.TheAcousticModelingfeatureisavailableforChannel1.

4. Xover Freq – Press the Xover Freq button to select the low-pass crossover frequency of the signals delivered to both the internal 12-inch woofers andStereoOutputs:80Hz,100Hz,120Hz,orOff.

WhenconnectingoneormoreL3ssubswithL3torL3mtowers,crossoverpointsareselectedautomatically.

WhenusedinconjunctionwithaStageScapeM20dmixer,channelassignmentsbehaveasabove,exceptanyL3torL3mspeakerslaidontheirsideare,bydefault,fedbymonitorfeedA,B,C,andD,respectively.Furthermore,anyspeakeronthenetworkcanhaveitschannelassignmentchangedmanuallyfromtheStageScapeM20dtouchscreeninterface.Inthiscase,eachspeaker’srearpanelL6LINKdisplaywill indicateitssequentialnumberinthenetwork.L3t/L3mandL3sspeakersarenumberedindependently.

Westronglyrecommendtheuseof110-ohmAES/EBUdigitalcablesforusewithLine6LINKconnectionsforStageScapeandStageSource.TheuseofstandardXLRcablesmayyieldinconsistentresultsbecauseofthevaryingqualityofcommercially-availableXLRcables.Cableslongerthan50feetarenotrecommendedforL6LINK.

SuSPending the L3t / L3mThe L3t and L3m provide four threaded M10 attachment points forsuspension andone threadedM10 attachment point for pull-back andaiming the speaker. These are designed to allow for suspending the loudspeaker only by a qualified professional familiar with safe riggingpractices. Improper installation may result in damage to the speaker or support structure, or injury or death.

WARNING! If you are unfamiliar with suspending loudspeakers, con-sultanauthorized,qualifiedprofessionalpriortoinstallation.

WARNING! Before rigging or suspending any loudspeaker product, in-spect all rigging hardware, cabinets, attachment points, transducers, and associatedperipherals.Anyabsent,warped,ornon-loadratedequipmentcould seriously compromise the strength of the installation and should be immediately corrected.

WARNING! Alwaysfollowallmunicipalbuildingcodes,aswellasanylocal, state, and federal safety guidelines regarding the installation and operation of loudspeakers and associated peripherals.

Always use two attachment points on either the topor bottomof theL3t/L3m.Therearpanelpull-backattachmentpoint isonly for aiming thespeakerdownwards;itisnottobeusedasaload-bearingsuspensionpoint.Furthermore,suspensionpointsareforhangingthespeakeronly;do not suspend additional speakers or other items from suspension points.

For permanent installations, use only the Line 6 eyebolt kit (part no.98-037-0005).
