TEN – Nine Piles Watch the video or read the instructions below to play Nine Piles. 1.Take the kings, queens and jokers out of the pack. 2.Place the remaining cards face up in nine piles. Easier – Take turns finding two numbers that add up to 10. Explain your answer to your partner. Harder – Take it in turns to find combinations of numbers that add up to 20. Explain your answer to your partner. Patterns and Algebra Patterns are all around us in life. They are also very important in Maths! Use the worksheet to practising continuing patterns.

Listen to the reading of ‘Vanilla Ice Cream’ by Bob Graham. In the story Edie tries ice cream for the first time. Follow the recipe to make your very own ice cream at home.

Free Choice

Use this time to catch up on any work you have not completed (optional) or have some free play time or go for a walk with an adult.

Colour By Number Rainbow Fish

Follow the instructions at the top of the worksheet. You will need 7 different coloured pencils, crayons or textas. Colour each section of the picture to match the colour code at the top of the page. You can add some foil or glitter on the fish scales. Your picture should have no white spaces left over.
