Please sign-up for the Traveling Chalice that is in the
vestibule to take home. There is a Chalice and Patten
and a framed prayer to say at your meals each day
that you have it. Everything is there for you to pray. You
would need to bring it back to the office by Noon on Friday. So
that means you have it from the weekend to Friday. This is a
great way to pull your family together in prayer at the dinning
room table and pray for Vocations. Please consider signing up
to continue our spiritual support for vocations.
FEBRUARY 23, 2020 SEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
Our Ladies Recognition Tea will be held this year on
April 21, 2020. The Tea will begin with Mass at 11:30
AM at the Large Parish Hall followed by the Tea/
Luncheon at the Small Parish Hall.
The purpose of the Tea is to honor women of this
parish who have volunteered their time and talent
for the benefit of this parish and/or the community.
One female parishioner 50 years of age or older, who
has been nominated by a fellow parishioner, will be
chosen by Father Manuel as the 2020 Award
Recipient and will be honored in a special way.
All St. Stephen parishioners are invited to nominate
one or more female parishioner(s) 50 years of age or
older who has volunteered her time and talent for
the benefit of this parish and/or the community.
All nominations are to be a personal and private
choice.
The Nomination Forms can be found in the
vestibule of the church from March 7, 2020 thru April
5, 2020.
Nominations must be deposited in the
Nomination Box which can be found near the forms.
Please use a separate form for each nomination.
The Nomination deadline is Sunday, April 5, 2020.

Pro-Life Oratory Contest for all High School Students
Greater Chattanooga Right To Life Chapter is sponsoring an
oratory contest on Saturday, March 28th at the downtown
library. This is a 5 to 7 minute original speech on a pro-life subject. Full
information & the application are available at
www.righttolifechattanooga.org. Deadline to apply is Friday, March
20th. Prizes are awarded & the local winner is sponsored to compete
in Nashville at the statewide contest on April 18th.
